Yutong Completes Two-Week Technical Training for Technicians from Multiple African Countries at Zhengzhou Headquarters
22 July 2026 – A two-week special technical training programme for partner maintenance technicians from Côte d’Ivoire and many other African nations has successfully concluded at Yutong’s Zhengzhou headquarters. The training aims to upgrade Africa’s local after-sales system through systematic technical support and strengthen China-Africa transport industry cooperation.

On the first day of training, technicians toured Yutong’s intelligent factory and brand exhibition hall to learn about complete vehicle manufacturing processes and core technical strengths. Combining theoretical lessons with real-site practical operations, the training caters to daily bus maintenance demands across Africa. Key modules cover vehicle electrical system troubleshooting, FAST transmission maintenance, air conditioner bench operation and Cummins engine valve adjustment. Professional trainers from FAST and Cummins guided hands-on practices, including secondary shaft disassembly and assembly of FAST gearboxes and real-engine calibration.

Over the two-week intensive training, all technicians actively mastered complex maintenance skills and passed comprehensive assessments to obtain official 2026 Yutong technical certificates. These certified specialists will act as core after-sales staff to guarantee safe and stable operation of Yutong buses locally.

Yutong has long invested deeply in African markets by launching standardised technical training sessions to build local professional maintenance teams and raise regional bus service standards. Moving forward, Yutong will roll out more overseas technical empowerment programmes, optimise its pan-African after-sales network, support the development of African public transport and achieve win-win collaboration between China and Africa.
